Hi, I’m Carrie.
Since moving to New Market in 2018, I have made this community my home. My career has been rooted in commercial real estate, and I later launched a consulting company focused on data and accounting solutions. That work has included managing large budgets and overseeing significant capital improvement projects.
Youth mentorship has been one of my greatest passions for more than 20 years. Working with young people has kept me connected to the challenges they face and has helped me build meaningful partnerships with both them and their parents.
In 2019, I married my husband, Adam, who shares my interest in commercial real estate, accounting, community, and kids. We have also hosted two foreign exchange students at New Prague High School. That experience deepened our appreciation for the local schools. Go Trojans!
I ran for the school board because I am passionate about helping the next generation reach their full potential. My own public school experience was transformative. It gave me opportunities to excel academically, room to grow during important years, and after-school programs that helped shape me into a well-rounded leader. I wanted to be a voice for our youth, and to make decisions that show them they are supported and that their futures are bright.
I was elected and began serving on the New Prague Area Schools Board of Education in January 2025. I am no longer a candidate. I am a sitting board member. Since taking office, I have served on the Finance and Facilities Task Force, the Finance and Facilities Committee, and the Policy Committee, and I formerly served on the District Advisory Committee.
I have stayed outspoken about the commitments I made when I ran, and I have spoken up when that was not the popular position. I remain committed to fighting for students and to putting them at the center of every decision. Every child deserves to know they are not alone, and that their dreams are achievable.
Thank you for staying engaged with our schools. Together, we can keep working for a stronger future for this community.
